Soundcore Q30

Soundcore Q30

Is the Q30 right for you?

The Q30 is Soundcore's over-ear Bluetooth headphone with hybrid noise cancelling, and it takes a 3.5 mm AUX cable for listening wired.

Best for

  • Switching between a phone and a laptop. Soundcore says it connects to two devices at the same time.
  • Cutting low-frequency background noise. Soundcore says its dual noise-detecting microphones pick up and filter out up to 95% of low-frequency ambient sound.

Skip if

  • You want cancelling on the cable. Soundcore's product page notes that "ANC is not compatible with an AUX Cable connection."
  • You'd mostly listen wired and want the buttons. Soundcore's user guide says the AUX cable turns off Bluetooth mode, and the buttons will not work during wired listening.

How other headphones handle cancelling on a cable is covered in our guide Can Wired Headphones Have Noise Cancelling? What to Buy.

Want to see it next to a keyboard and a mouse? Try it on the QuickDesker board and build a whole desk setup around it.

What does it cost, and what should you check first?

  • Seen at Best Buy for $59.99 (White - Beige) on 22 Sep 2026
  • Seen at Soundcore.com for $67.99 (Black) on 29 Oct 2026

Prices change; check the one for the colour you want. Soundcore's product page lists it in Black, Midnight Blue and Sakura Pink. It charges over a USB-C port.

Soundcore lists SBC and AAC for Bluetooth audio; a codec is how audio is compressed for the wireless link, and iPhones use AAC. Soundcore also says Google Fast Pair gives instant pairing with Android smartphones running Android 6.0 or higher.

How does the Q30's noise cancelling work?

Soundcore lists Hybrid ANC with Multi-Modes. Active cancelling uses microphones to pick up outside sound and plays an opposing signal to cancel it out, and hybrid means there are microphones both outside and inside the ear cup. You select a noise cancellation mode in the soundcore App, Soundcore says. The different things sold as noise cancelling are covered in our guide: What “noise cancelling” actually means on a headphone box.

Soundcore also lists a transparency mode, to switch between immersive sound and the ambient noises you need to hear. For calls, it lists 2 mics and what it calls AI-powered microphone technology for clear calls in noisy environments. That kind of processing cleans up your voice for the person on the other end, and does nothing to what you hear.

How long does the Q30's battery last, and what are its sound specs?

Soundcore gives different battery figures in different places. One section of its product page says up to 50 hours in noise cancelling mode and 70 hours in standard mode, while the page's FAQ gives 40 hours with ANC on and 60 hours with ANC off, both at 60% volume. The user guide says up to 50 hours with ANC on.

Soundcore's user guide lists 40 mm drivers, an impedance of 16 Ω and a frequency response of 20 Hz - 40 kHz. There's more on what driver size, impedance and frequency response tell you in our guide: What do headphone specs actually mean? Frequency response, impedance and driver size.
