QuickDesker Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 31, 2026
Last Updated: August 31, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how QuickDesker (“QuickDesker,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes information when you visit or interact with the QuickDesker website and related features (the “Site”).
QuickDesker is an independently operated product-research, comparison, recommendation, and referral website.
1. The Short Version
QuickDesker does not require you to create an account, purchase a membership, or subscribe to use the Site.
When you visit, the Site and the services used to operate it may automatically receive ordinary technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referral information, and timestamps.
If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to send us.
QuickDesker also uses referral or affiliate links. When you follow one of those links, the third-party retailer, marketplace, affiliate network, manufacturer, or other destination may collect information under its own privacy policy and may use cookies or similar technologies to determine that QuickDesker referred you.
QuickDesker does not receive your payment-card information merely because you purchase a product after following one of our links.
QuickDesker does not currently sell personal information for money.
There is no QuickDesker account or membership to cancel. You can stop using QuickDesker at any time by simply leaving the Site. This does not affect any privacy rights you may have under applicable law.
2. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to information processed by QuickDesker in connection with the Site.
It does not govern the independent privacy practices of third-party websites, retailers, marketplaces, manufacturers, affiliate networks, advertisers, payment processors, or other services that you may access through links appearing on QuickDesker.
When you leave QuickDesker, the privacy policy of the third party you visit generally governs that third party's collection and use of information.
3. Information We Collect
Information Collected Automatically
When you access the Site, QuickDesker and service providers used to operate the Site may automatically receive information such as:
- IP address;
- browser type and version;
- device type;
- operating system;
- general or approximate geographic location derived from IP address;
- referring and destination pages;
- pages and content viewed;
- links clicked;
- date and time of access;
- time spent on pages;
- general interaction and performance information;
- error and diagnostic information; and
- security-related information.
We use this information primarily to operate, secure, understand, maintain, and improve the Site.
Information You Provide
QuickDesker does not currently offer ordinary user accounts.
If you voluntarily contact us, report an error, submit feedback, or otherwise communicate with us, we may receive information such as:
- your name;
- email address;
- the contents of your message;
- attachments or information you choose to provide; and
- records of our correspondence.
Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is reasonably necessary for your request.
Information From Third Parties
QuickDesker may receive information from service providers and business partners used to operate or understand the Site.
For example, affiliate or referral programs may provide QuickDesker with information regarding clicks, qualifying purchases, conversion activity, commission amounts, or other referral-performance information.
Such reporting generally does not require QuickDesker to receive the payment information you provide to the retailer.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site may use cookies, local storage, URL parameters, pixels, server logs, or similar technologies for purposes such as:
- operating the Site;
- remembering technical preferences;
- preventing abuse;
- protecting security;
- measuring traffic and performance;
- understanding how visitors use the Site; and
- measuring or attributing referrals to third-party merchants.
Cookies may be placed by QuickDesker or by service providers acting on QuickDesker's behalf.
Your browser generally allows you to delete or block cookies. Blocking certain technologies may affect how portions of the Site function.
Third-Party Affiliate Tracking
When you click a link to a retailer, marketplace, manufacturer, or other third party, information may be transmitted to that third party as part of the normal operation of the Internet and the referral link.
The destination site or its affiliate network may use cookies or similar technologies to determine that a visit or purchase originated with QuickDesker.
Those technologies are governed by the third party's own privacy policies and practices.
QuickDesker does not control cookies or tracking technologies placed by a third party after you leave the Site.
5. How We Use Information
QuickDesker may process information collected through the Site to:
- provide and operate the Site;
- deliver requested content;
- maintain Site functionality;
- secure the Site and prevent fraud, abuse, attacks, or unauthorized access;
- identify and correct errors;
- analyze Site traffic and performance;
- understand which content and features visitors find useful;
- improve Site design, research, recommendations, and functionality;
- measure referrals and affiliate activity;
- respond to communications;
- investigate violations of our Terms of Use;
- protect QuickDesker's legal rights;
- comply with applicable law, legal process, and regulatory obligations; and
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We may also use information in aggregated or de-identified form where reasonably designed so that it is not associated with an identifiable individual.
6. Affiliate Links and Third-Party Websites
QuickDesker provides links to independent third parties, including retailers, marketplaces, sellers, manufacturers, and other websites.
Clicking those links may cause those parties to receive information such as:
- the page from which you arrived;
- referral or affiliate identifiers;
- your IP address;
- browser and device information; and
- other information transmitted through ordinary web requests.
If you make a purchase, the retailer or seller may collect your name, shipping address, billing information, payment information, purchase history, and other transaction information.
That information is collected by the third party—not by QuickDesker merely because QuickDesker referred you.
QuickDesker's Privacy Policy does not govern a third party's use of that information.
7. How We Disclose Information
QuickDesker may disclose information in the following circumstances.
Service Providers
We may provide information to companies that perform services for QuickDesker, such as:
- website hosting;
- infrastructure;
- security;
- analytics;
- error monitoring;
- content delivery;
- communications; and
- other technical services.
These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services.
Affiliate and Referral Services
Information necessary to identify or attribute a referral may be communicated to affiliate networks, retailers, marketplaces, or similar partners when you interact with a qualifying link.
Legal and Safety Reasons
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:
- comply with law;
- respond to valid legal process;
- protect our rights or property;
- investigate fraud or abuse;
- protect users or others;
- enforce our Terms of Use; or
- protect the security or integrity of the Site.
Business Transfers
If QuickDesker or substantially all of its relevant assets are sold, transferred, reorganized, merged, or otherwise involved in a business transaction, information associated with the Site may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
8. Sale of Personal Data and Targeted Advertising
QuickDesker does not currently sell personal data for monetary consideration.
QuickDesker also does not currently use personal data to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects concerning visitors.
If QuickDesker later engages in practices that constitute the “sale” of personal data, “sharing” of personal information, or targeted advertising under an applicable privacy law, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notices, consent mechanisms, or opt-out methods required by applicable law.
Where applicable law requires us to recognize a legally valid universal opt-out preference signal for sale or targeted advertising, QuickDesker will honor such signals as required by that law.
9. Data Retention
QuickDesker retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to:
- operate and secure the Site;
- maintain appropriate business and technical records;
- resolve disputes;
- enforce agreements;
- comply with legal requirements; and
- establish or defend legal claims.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and why it was collected.
We may retain aggregated or de-identified information for a longer period where it no longer reasonably identifies an individual.
10. Data Security
QuickDesker uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the Site and the information processed.
No website, network, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure. Accordingly, QuickDesker cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, alteration, or misuse will never occur.
You use the Internet and the Site with that understanding.
11. Children's Privacy
QuickDesker is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.
QuickDesker does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 in circumstances requiring parental consent, we may delete the information as required by applicable law.
12. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live and whether the applicable privacy law applies to QuickDesker, you may have rights concerning your personal information.
Those rights may include the right to:
- confirm whether we process your personal data;
- access personal data about you;
- correct inaccurate personal data;
- request deletion;
- obtain a portable copy of certain information;
- opt out of certain sales of personal data;
- opt out of targeted advertising;
- opt out of certain profiling;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- obtain information concerning certain third parties to which information was disclosed; and
- appeal certain decisions concerning a privacy request.
These rights are subject to the definitions, exceptions, verification requirements, applicability thresholds, and other limitations of the relevant law.
Submitting a Privacy Request
You may submit a privacy request using the privacy or contact method identified on the Site.
Please provide enough information for us to understand the request and, when required, reasonably verify that the request relates to you.
QuickDesker will not require you to create an account solely to exercise a privacy right.
Where applicable law permits an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, we may request reasonable evidence of the agent's authority and verification of your identity.
Appeals
If applicable law gives you the right to appeal our response to a privacy request, you may submit an appeal through the same privacy contact method and identify the request as a “Privacy Appeal.”
We will review and respond to the appeal as required by applicable law.
13. Minnesota Residents
Minnesota law may provide qualifying residents with additional privacy rights when the Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act applies to the entity processing the information.
These rights may include access, correction, deletion, portability, certain information concerning third-party disclosures, and rights to opt out of covered sales, targeted advertising, and certain profiling.
The law contains applicability thresholds, exceptions, verification rules, and other limitations. Nothing in this Policy represents that every provision of the Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act applies to QuickDesker if QuickDesker does not meet the law's statutory applicability requirements.
Where the law applies, QuickDesker will process qualifying requests and appeals as required by applicable Minnesota law.
14. Browser Privacy Signals
Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” or similar settings for which there is not a single universally applicable legal or technical standard.
Accordingly, ordinary Do Not Track settings may not change how the Site operates.
This is separate from legally recognized universal opt-out mechanisms. Where an applicable law requires QuickDesker to recognize a qualifying universal opt-out preference signal, we will do so as required by law.
15. Third-Party Privacy Practices
QuickDesker does not control and is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of third parties.
Before providing personal or payment information to a retailer, marketplace, seller, manufacturer, or other third party, you should review that party's privacy policy.
A link appearing on QuickDesker does not mean QuickDesker controls the destination site's data practices.
16. International Visitors
QuickDesker is operated from the United States and is principally intended for users in the United States.
If you access the Site from another country, information associated with your visit may be processed in the United States or other countries where QuickDesker's service providers operate.
Privacy laws in those jurisdictions may differ from those in your location.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
QuickDesker may update this Privacy Policy as its practices, technology, services, or legal obligations change.
We will update the “Last Updated” date when changes are made.
If applicable law requires additional notice, consent, or an opportunity to exercise privacy rights in connection with a material change, QuickDesker will provide those measures as required by law.
You should periodically review this page for updates.
18. Relationship to the Terms of Use
This Privacy Policy should be read together with QuickDesker's Terms of Use.
The Terms of Use govern your use of the Site and include additional provisions regarding third-party services, disclaimers, intellectual property, limitations of liability, disputes, and other matters.
Nothing in the Terms of Use or this Privacy Policy eliminates a right that cannot lawfully be waived.
19. Contact and Privacy Requests
For questions concerning this Privacy Policy or to submit a privacy request, use the privacy contact email address or online contact method identified on the QuickDesker Site.
