- You need a number pad. A 75% layout leaves it off.

Razer's Master Guide lists a magnetic plush leatherette wrist rest, a USB Type A to Type C cable, a 2-in-1 keycap and switch puller and an Important Product Information Guide in the box. A USB-A plug doesn't fit a USB-C port without an adapter, so a computer with only USB-C ports needs one.
Razer lists Synapse 4 as its software; the Master Guide gives its requirements as Windows 11 or macOS 15 with Apple Silicon "M" series (or higher), plus an internet connection to install it. Razer's product page says you get up to 2 years of warranty.
Which switches does the BlackWidow V4 75% use, and can you swap them?
Razer's product page names the switches as Razer Orange Tactile Mechanical Switches Gen-3, and its support page lists the type as tactile. A tactile switch has a small bump partway through each press; a linear one has none.
Razer pitches the Orange switches as "tactility without the clicks", with "quieter actuation", and says they're factory lubricated with Krytox GPL 205g0. What does an 8000 Hz polling rate change?
Polling rate is how often a keyboard reports key presses to the computer, in times per second. Razer lists up to 8000 Hz.
At 1000 Hz a report already goes out every millisecond, so going higher trims fractions of a millisecond. Very high rates also put more load on the computer's processor.
Razer also lists N-key rollover and anti-ghosting, so every key in a combination registers, however many you press at once.
