Is the Air75 V2 right for you?
The Air75 V2 is a low-profile mechanical keyboard in a 75% layout that connects by 2.4GHz receiver, Bluetooth or USB-C cable.
Best for
- People who hop between a laptop and a tablet. It connects three ways, and NuPhy says it can pair with four devices at once.
- Tinkerers. The switches pull out without soldering, and the keys remap in QMK/VIA.
Skip if
- You need a number pad. A 75% layout leaves it off.
- You'd keep the backlight on all day and hate charging. NuPhy's own lights-on figure is 35 to 57 hours.

Prices change; check the one for the switch you want. NuPhy's page lists seven switch options for it; the table below has them all.
Before you buy, note that the cable in the box is USB-C to USB-A, so a laptop with only USB-C ports needs an adapter to use it. The layout is ANSI, the usual US arrangement.
NuPhy lists macOS, Windows, Linux, Android and iOS as compatible. The warranty is one year.

How do the low-profile switches compare with regular ones?
NuPhy lists the switch type as Gateron Low-profile Mechanical (KS-33). It prints 3.2 mm of total travel for the Red 2.0 version and 3.0 mm for Moss, each give or take 0.2 mm. A full-height mechanical switch typically travels about 4 mm, so each press here is a little shorter.
Force is how hard you press before a key registers, given in grams-force (gf). NuPhy rates Aloe at 37±15gf and Moss at 60±15gf. For Red 2.0, its page gives two figures: 45gf in its switch list and 50±15gf in the switch's own specifications. Red 2.0 and Aloe are linear, smooth all the way down; Moss is tactile, with a bump partway through the press.
The sockets are hot-swappable, and the box adds four spare switches and a puller. Low-profile switches don't fit full-height sockets, and low-profile types don't all fit each other, so match any spares to the KS-33 type. How long does the battery last?
The lights make the difference. NuPhy's lab figure is up to 220 hours with every light off and 35 to 57 hours with every light on, from a 4000mAh battery.
The connection matters too. Through the 2.4GHz receiver it reports to your computer 1000 times a second; over Bluetooth 5.1, 125 times. Polling rate is how often the keyboard tells the computer what you pressed, so for fast games use the receiver rather than Bluetooth. For typing, Bluetooth is plenty.
