What do the Pulsefire Haste 2's sensor figures mean?
HyperX lists the HyperX 26K Sensor with a resolution of up to 26000 DPI, and DPI presets of 400, 800, 1600 and 3200. DPI sets how far the cursor travels for each inch the mouse moves.
HyperX lists a polling rate of up to 8000Hz. Polling rate is how many times a second the mouse reports its position to your computer, so 8000Hz is once every 0.125 milliseconds, where 1000Hz is once every millisecond. HyperX rates tracking at up to 650 IPS and acceleration at 50G. Those figures are the fastest you can move the mouse, in inches per second, and the sharpest you can speed it up, in G, before the sensor loses track. How big is the Pulsefire Haste 2, and what does it weigh?
HyperX lists the shape as symmetrical, at 124.3mm long, 66.8mm wide and 38.2mm high. A symmetrical shell has the same outline on both sides.
HyperX calls the design ultra-lightweight, and its product page gives the weight in two places: 53g in its feature list, and 0.11lb without the cable and 0.16lb with it in its specifications. What can you set up on the Pulsefire Haste 2's buttons?
HyperX lists 6 buttons, and all 6 are programmable. A programmable button can send a key, a shortcut or a macro in place of its usual click. HyperX lists onboard memory for 1 profile; onboard memory keeps a set of settings on the mouse itself, not only in software on one computer.
