Prices change; check the one for the version you want. Keychron sells it Fully Assembled in Carbon Black - A, Silver Grey - A, Navy Blue - A, Carbon Black - B, Silver Grey - B, Navy Blue - B and Shell White, and as a Barebone version.
Keychron says the Barebone version doesn't include the keycaps and switches, so you'd add your own before you can type on it.
Keychron lists the layout as ANSI, the usual US arrangement. It says the Q4 ISO collection comes in UK, German, Nordic, Swiss, French and Spanish layouts.
Keychron says the open-source QMK firmware handles key remapping, macros and shortcuts, and you customize each key in the Keychron Launcher web app.
Which switches does the Q4 come with, and can you swap them?
Keychron lists Gateron G Pro Red, Blue and Brown switches for it, and says the switches in the fully assembled Q4 are pre-lubricated at the factory.
You can swap them. Keychron says the hot-swappable sockets are mounted on the PCB, so you can install or change switches without soldering, and the PCB supports both 3-pin and 5-pin MX mechanical switches.
What is the Q4 made of, and what keycaps does it come with?
Keychron lists a full CNC machined aluminum body and says it's made from 6063 aluminum. Inside there's a steel plate on a gasket mount. A gasket mount holds the plate between soft gaskets rather than screwing it straight to the case.
Keychron calls the Q4's version a double gasket design: on top of the gaskets on the plates, it adds silicone pads between the top and bottom cases, which it says "significantly reduce the acoustic resonance between the metals".
The fully assembled version comes with double-shot PBT keycaps in what Keychron calls OSA profile: OEM height with an SA shape. Keychron says the PBT keycaps resist oil and keep the legends from fading.
