- People who move between Mac and Windows. Keychron says FN + CAPS switches the keyboard between Mac and Windows, and that it takes universal keycaps that work with both systems.

- You want to go wireless. Keychron describes it as a wired keyboard.
- You want RGB lighting. Keychron lists the backlight as a north-facing red LED.

Prices change; check the one for the switch you want. Keychron sells it with Keychron Mechanical Red Switch or Keychron Mechanical Brown Switch.
It connects by cable. Keychron lists the connectivity as Type-C, and its manual lists a Type-C cable in the box, along with a keycap puller, an extra keycap set, a manual and a quick start guide.
What switches does the C3 Pro use?
Keychron lists Keychron mechanical switches, in a Red or a Brown version, and says it factory pre-lubes all its Keychron Mechanical switches except the clicky ones.
Keychron also lists a 1000 Hz polling rate and N-key rollover. Polling rate is how many times a second the keyboard reports to the computer, so 1000 Hz is once every millisecond. N-key rollover means every key held down at the same moment is registered.

How is the C3 Pro built, and what keycaps does it have?
Keychron lists an ABS plastic body with a gasket mount design, and says the gasket mount reduces acoustic resonance while adding typing flexibility, with sound-absorbing foam and case foam inside. In a gasket mount, the plate is held by soft gaskets rather than screwed straight to the case.
The keycaps are double-shot ABS in OEM profile, and Keychron lists them as shine-through, so the red backlight shows through the legends. Keychron says there are over 14 varieties of red lights, in styles such as flashing, breathing and static.
Keychron lists the weight as 912 ± 10 g.
