SteelSeries lists a 1.8m (6 feet) cable, and its FAQ says the USB cable isn't detachable. For compatibility it lists Windows, and it gives Windows 10 or later as the requirement for its SteelSeries GG software. In the box, it lists the mouse and a product information guide.
How does the Rival 3 Gen 2's shape fit your hand?
SteelSeries lists a symmetrical shape and gives the grip style as claw or fingertip. In a claw grip your palm touches only the back of the mouse while your fingers arch over the buttons; in a fingertip grip only your fingertips touch it. SteelSeries gives the size as 120.6 mm long, 67.0 mm wide and 38.0 mm high. It lists the weight as 77g for the mouse and 106.2 g including the cable. What do the Rival 3 Gen 2's sensor figures mean?
SteelSeries lists a TrueMove Core optical sensor rated at 8.5K DPI, and says it gives "True 1-to-1 tracking". DPI sets how far the cursor travels for each inch the mouse moves, so a higher setting sends it farther for the same movement of your hand. SteelSeries' FAQ gives five default DPI levels, each with its own indicator colour: 400 magenta, 800 cyan, 1600 green, 2400 yellow and 3200 red.
