Mecha-Membrane is Razer's own name for these switches. Razer says they're hybrid switches that feature "the clicky, tactile feedback of a mechanical switch and the cushioned touch of a membrane switch."
Razer's support page calls it a compact low profile gaming keyboard, and the product page says it has "slimmer keycaps and shorter switches." Razer lists the height as 1.23 in / 31 mm.

What does the 1000 Hz polling rate mean, and what is Snap Tap?
Polling rate is how often a keyboard reports key presses to the computer, in times per second. Razer lists 1000 Hz, so a report goes out every millisecond.
Razer says the keyboard supports Snap Tap through Razer Synapse 4. It describes Snap Tap as the ability to "prioritize the latest input between two selected keys without having to release the previous one."
