What can you adjust on the analog optical switches?
Razer lists its Analog Optical Switch Gen-2 with a 40 G actuation force and a 0.1 to 4.0 mm adjustable actuation range.
An optical switch detects a press with a beam of light rather than by two metal contacts touching. An analog one also reads how far the key has gone down, not only whether it's pressed. The actuation point is the depth at which a press registers, so a short setting registers it early and a long one waits until the key is further down.
Razer says Snap Tap and Rapid Trigger Mode make inputs more responsive. It also lists "a dedicated dial for volume and analog switch settings, backed by a trio of buttons for media control and custom macros."
