Prices change; check the one for the colour you want. Logitech's product page lists the mouse, one AA alkaline battery (already fitted), user documentation and an important information document in the box. A receiver isn't on that list: Logitech says the mouse is compatible with a Logi Bolt USB receiver, not included. The warranty is a one-year limited hardware warranty.
How long does the AA last, and how does it connect?
Logitech quotes 24 months from the single AA, and notes that battery life may vary based on user and computing conditions. The battery it lists is an alkaline AA, fitted before the mouse ships. Alkaline cells aren't made to be recharged, so when it runs flat you swap in a fresh one.
With a Logi Bolt USB receiver, Logitech gives the report rate as 125 Hz (8 ms); over Bluetooth, it's 88–133 Hz (7.5–11.25 ms). A report rate is how many times a second the mouse tells your computer where it is.
Logitech puts the wireless range at 32.8 ft (10 m), and says it may vary due to environmental and computing conditions.
What do the Pebble Mouse 2's three buttons do?
Logitech lists three buttons: left and right click, and a scroll wheel with middle click. The middle click is the one Logitech lets you customize, through its Logi Options+ app for Windows and macOS.
Two reviews raised the same complaint: there are no side buttons, the pair that usually handles back and forward on a mouse.
