Logitech MX Keys Mini

Logitech MX Keys Mini

Is the MX Keys Mini right for you?

The MX Keys Mini is a backlit scissor-key keyboard that connects over Bluetooth Low Energy and runs on a rechargeable battery.

Best for

  • People who work across more than one device. Logitech says you can connect up to 3 devices and switch between them.
  • People who want backlit keys. Logitech's support specifications list backlighting.

Skip if

  • You want a USB receiver in the box. Logitech's product page lists the Logi Bolt USB Receiver as not included.

Want to see it next to a mouse and a headset? Try it on the QuickDesker board and build a whole desk setup around it.

What does it cost, and what should you check first?

  • Seen at Best Buy for $99.99 (Black) on 23 Oct 2026
  • Seen at Logitech.com for $99.99 (Rose) on 16 Sep 2026

Prices change; check the one for the colour you want. Logitech sells it in Graphite, Rose, Pale Gray and Black.

Logitech's product page lists a keyboard, a USB-C charging cable (USB-A to USB-C) and user documentation in the box. A USB-A plug doesn't fit a USB-C-only computer without an adapter.

Logitech's product page says it is compatible with the Logi Bolt USB Receiver, and that Logi Bolt wireless products won't pair with other Logitech USB receivers.

Logitech's product page says it is supported by Logi Options+ on Windows and macOS, and gives a 1-Year Limited Hardware Warranty.

How far do the scissor keys travel?

Logitech's support specifications list scissor keys with 1.8 mm of total travel. On a scissor keyboard, each key sits on a pair of hinged supports that keep it level as it goes down. A full-height mechanical switch typically travels about 4 mm, so each press here is shorter.

Logitech describes "spherically-dished keys shaped for your fingertips", and says increased key stability reduces noise.

How mechanical switches compare with other key types is covered in our guide Mechanical vs. membrane keyboards: which should you actually buy?

How long does the battery last, and how does it connect?

Logitech quotes 10 days with the backlight on and 5 months without it, from a rechargeable 1500 mAh Li-Po battery. Its support specifications list the battery as not user replaceable.

The support specifications give the connection type as Bluetooth Low Energy and Logi Bolt-compatible, with a wireless range of 10 m.
