Prices change, so check the current one before you buy. HyperX lists it in Black, with a US Layout version on its US product page and a UK Layout version on its UK one.
Measure your desk before you order: HyperX gives the width as 443.20mm, the depth as 175.31mm and the height as 35.68mm, and the weight with cable as 1121g.
In the box, HyperX lists the keyboard and a Quick Start Guide, and it lists a 2 year warranty.
HyperX also says you can lock the keyboard without having to lock your system.
How do the Alloy Core RGB's membrane keys work?
HyperX lists the switch as Membrane, with a total travel distance of 3.8 mm. On a membrane keyboard, pressing a key pushes a rubber dome down onto a layered circuit sheet, and the press registers when the layers touch. Travel is how far a key moves from rest to the bottom of its press.
One review found the rubber-dome keys unresponsive, particularly for gaming, because of a high pre-travel distance; another called them spongey and less satisfying than mechanical switches, especially for gaming.
