What do they cost, and what should you check first?

Prices change; check the one for the colour you want. Bose's pages list them in Black, White Smoke, Midnight Violet, Desert Gold, Driftwood Sand and Cherry Chocolate, and in KidSuper Midnight Violet and KidSuper Moonstone Blue editions.
In the box are the headphones, a carry case, a 3.5 mm to 2.5 mm audio cable, a 39" USB-C (C to C) cable and a safety sheet. The USB-C cable won't fit an older USB-A charger without an adapter.
They connect over Bluetooth 5.4. Bose's launch announcement lists the SBC, AAC and aptX Adaptive codecs. A codec is how audio is compressed for the wireless link, and iPhones use AAC.
How well do the QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen) block outside noise?
Two reviews praised it: one found they isolate noise well, and another called the cancelling the best its reviewer had tested. Bose's product page lists the noise control type as adjustable noise cancelling, active noise cancelling and echo reduction, and names Quiet, Aware, Immersion and Cinema as listening modes.

How long does the battery last on the QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen)?
Bose's launch announcement quotes up to 30 hours, or 23 with Immersive Audio on and 45 with ANC turned off. Immersive Audio is Bose's spatial audio, which processes sound so it seems to come from around you.
Bose says a 15-minute charge gives up to 3 hours (up to 2 with Immersive Audio) and a full charge takes 3 hours. And Bose says you can listen while you charge with the included USB cable.
