- Your phone has no headphone jack. These end in a 3.5mm plug, which won't fit a USB-C or Lightning port without an adapter.

Prices change, so check the current one before you buy. Apple says they work with iPhone, iPad and iPod models that have a 3.5mm headphone jack, and with other products that have a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.
Apple says the built-in remote adjusts the volume, controls music and video playback, and answers or ends calls. Not every iPod, iPhone and iPad model supports the volume up and down functions, Apple adds.
Apple's box list is one line: the EarPods with their 3.5mm headphone plug. Apple also describes them as having protection from sweat and water.
